Ingredients
Bread
4 slices
Cheddar Cheese
4 oz, sliced
Greek Yogurt
2 tbsp
Onion
¼, finely diced
Salt
½ tsp
Tuna
2 cans, 5 oz each
Instructions
Drain tuna thoroughly — press with a fork to get out as much liquid as possible. Excess moisture makes soggy tuna melts.
In a bowl, mix tuna with a couple tablespoons of Greek yogurt or mayo, diced onion, salt, and pepper. Stir until combined. Taste and adjust seasoning.
Toast bread slices on one side under the broiler or in a pan until golden.
Flip bread to the untoasted side. Pile tuna mixture generously. Top with sliced or shredded cheddar.
Broil on high for 2–3 minutes, watching closely, until cheese is fully melted and bubbling with some brown spots.
Serve hot immediately.
