Oatmeal

Thick, creamy stovetop oatmeal with honey. Takes 5 minutes and keeps you full for hours. Use milk instead of water for an extra-creamy result.

Ingredients
Honey 1–2 tbsp
Oats 1 cup, rolled
Salt 1 pinch
Instructions
  1. Bring 2 cups water (or milk for a creamier result) to a boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Add oats and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook 4–5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the oats have absorbed most of the liquid and the mixture is thick and creamy.
  4. If it looks too thick, add a splash of water or milk and stir.
  5. Pour into bowls and drizzle generously with honey.
  6. Optional toppings: sliced banana, a spoonful of peanut butter, fresh or frozen berries, or a pinch of cinnamon.
