Creamy Mushroom Pasta
Earthy mushrooms in a silky cream sauce tossed with pasta. Rich, fast, and deeply satisfying.

Ingredients
Butter
2 tbsp
Garlic
3 cloves
Heavy Cream
1 cup
Mushrooms
1 lb
Parmesan
½ cup, grated
Pasta
12 oz
Salt
1 tsp
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water before draining.
Slice mushrooms thickly — thin slices will disappear in the sauce.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms in a single layer. Do NOT stir for 3 minutes — let them brown.
Stir and cook 3 more minutes. Season with salt.
Add minced garlic, cook 1 minute.
Pour in heavy cream, reduce heat to medium, and simmer 4 minutes until slightly thickened.
Add pasta and toss, adding pasta water a splash at a time until sauce coats every strand.
Finish with grated parmesan.
