Bread
4 slices, thick
Cream Cheese
½ cup
Honey
3 tbsp
Salt

Instructions
Toast bread until deeply golden and crispy — floppy toast can't support creamy toppings.
While still hot, spread cream cheese or ricotta generously onto each slice. The heat from the toast will soften it slightly and help it spread.
Drizzle with honey. Start with less than you think you need, then add more.
Finish with a pinch of salt — this sounds odd but the contrast makes the honey taste more intensely sweet.
Optional: add banana slices, a squeeze of lemon, fresh herbs, or a crack of black pepper depending on whether you want sweet or savory.
Serve immediately.
